The Silverado EV
This revolutionary Silverado is developed from the ground up as a fully-electric truck that offers drivers 400 miles of range and up to 10,000 pounds of trailering capacity. The Silverado EV is also well-equipped with high-tech innovations and is the perfect mix of capability, performance and versatility!
The Silverado EV will have two available options, an RST First Edition and a fleet-oriented WT model. Both the RST and WT will come with Tow/Haul mode, trailer hitch provisions, and a trailer brake controller and Hitch Guidance. The RST will be equipped with Chevy’s Advanced Trailering System as well.
Performance
The all-electric Silverado harnesses the power of Ultium Platform which is the cornerstone of GM’s zero-emissions vision for the future. This pickup will feature fast charging capabilities that will enable 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charge, according to GM estimates. It can even charge another EV using an accessory charge cord.
The Silverado EV will be equipped with four-wheel steer capability, which will reduce the turn radius for improved maneuverability and handling, especially when trailering.
Additionally, drivers can enjoy the latest technology, including an advanced software system that enables vehicle tech to evolve and update over time. The Silverado EV will greet drivers when they approach with a cell phone or key fob by shining a lighting animation that’s distinctive to the EV. Once drivers get in the vehicle, a 3D animation appears on the LCD freeform infotainment screen, which is paired with a neighboring 11-inch-diagonal driver instrument display.
